Fully Alive

Glad to know that Aila wasn’t some clone but I do hope that Sunrise won’t pull some shitty human experimentation on her. Being poor and homeless is one thing, being toyed upon FOR SCIENCE FOR GUNPLA is another retarded matter.

Setting aside the fact that Sei’s father is some Gunpla Interpol I actually enjoyed the development between Reiji and Aila. Both of them who started with no interest in Gunpla found themselves understanding what it feels to accomplish a model with their own hands.

And as somewhat implied by Fellini and Sei, making a Gunpla with your own two hands and seeing it strive walk and fight just the way you want it provides a sense of achievement. The pride of a builder that comes from seeing the fruits of his labor realize his ideals is a moment of ecstasy.

Next episode should be interesting. Mao may not be as hot-blooded as Fellini but I still expect an amazing clash between fighters though I do hope that this one won’t end with a draw.

Aila’s an adorable character and I really like her interactions with Reiji. With the anime all finished up I’d say she’s one of my favorite characters of the series along with Fellini and Yuuki.
