Because nobody messes with Kotomine Kirei Chief Nyanta!!

The swashbuckler class proved to be quite entertaining. If anything, they’re probably the most flashiest among the melee classes that I have seen for this series. Though, I wonder if there are other swashbucklers around aside from Nyanta.

While this episode portrays Thorn Bind Hostage to be quite an overpowered skill, the way the episode presented the pros and cons of the skill itself rationalizes the entire gimmick that Shiroe and Nyanta used. Though to be honest, having a crowd control spell that lasts for more or less 15 seconds while having a flat 15 second cooldown feels quite OP. Games with disables usually go for short duration control with long cooldowns to balance the system, though that doesn’t seem to be the case for Log Horizon.

It’s worth mentioning that with another member of the Debauchery Tea Party recovered, the series is doing a fine job in hinting how strong the group were. A ragtag gang of acquaintances that’s capable of working together is a noteworthy feat in itself. I do hope to see the entire gang assembled and in action. Also, is it safe to assume that every single one of them owns a whistle to summon griffins? Was that a reward in one of their raids?

Reminds me of Lord of the Rings =|

Well, the BGM when they called their air cavalry felt really badass though.
