Breathe deep and die

STTTTTTTTOOOOOOOOOOOOOP IIIIIIIIIIIIIITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!

And I seriously lost count how many times I looked away and covered my face in shame.

And with this draws a close to Symphogear. I honestly pray they won’t have the nerve to fucking promote a third season. I’ll be surprised even if they managed to pull out a movie from their asses.

I think I mentioned it before but the problem with this series is the singing. To be honest, I don’t seem to mind anymore whatever shit they try to pull. Whether their gears transforming into Gundams or Tits hiding those munitions down her skirt, at this point, there’s really nothing as shocking and as intimidating as the singing.

They’re not bad singers. Honestly, calling these seiyuu (except perhaps for Aoi) as bad singers is a crime! It’s just that, 24 episodes and I’m still not used to hearing them sing. And while I did lower the volume to endure the previous episodes of torment, hey, this IS the last episode. Why not endure one more glorifying moment of agony?

I just noticed it while I’m looking at the images but WHY THE FUCK DID OGAWA HAVE A STYLIZED ATTACK DESCRIPTION WHILE HIBIKI DIDN’T?! She’s the motherfucking MC!! Even when she pulled out her fucking weapon FOR THE FIRST AND LAST TIME, they didn’t even bothered giving her one!!

Looking back, I still think that the first season of this series made more sense. Absurdity and lolwut moments aside, season 1 showed a decent narrative backed up with good character development. Something that really blew up in the face of season 2.

But whatever, this shit is FINALLY OVER!! FUCK YEAH!! Seriously, no more s3, no more movies, stop the bullshit already and let this agony of mine end once and for all X_X

I laughed too hard at the last two episodes of this anime XD. The whole talk about preventing the moon falling from the sky, then the mooning on live global TV broadcast, along with what looked like WTF reactions from everyone around the globe (face palm) ^^;. The crazy transformations got flashier and more complex. The sorry excuse of a plot just got more and more ridiculous towards the end. All this just to make them fight and sing, and fight and sing, and fight and sing, on a bigger scale. Then another bigger scale still XD. Even Miku got her last punch in there at the last moment (totally didn’t make any sense at all, but who cares at this point? :p).

This anime probably made me laugh more than any other anime last season (and there were many comedy focused ones as well) XD.

From the ending, it doesn’t look like they intend to make more of this (though they did leave openings for sequels ^^; ). However, the BD sales are good :p. So as much as I hope they will let it just end here, I won’t be surprised if they might be tempted to make more T_T.

MJP was estimated to have sold around two thousand six hundred for the first BD volume in the first week (and sold around the same number for the later volumes as well). It also sold about five hundred plus for the first DVD volumes.

Symphogear G is estimated to have sold nine thousand eight hundred copies for the first BD volume in the first week, and around one thousand one hundred for the first DVD volumes. XD ^^; T_T OTL

Well, MJP BDs has been in the mid to upper two thousand range for it’s first week sales. Symphogear G has been consistently in the six thousand range (after the first volume’s nine to ten thousand ^^; ). Additionally there’s all the crazy merchandizing and the songs that has been selling real well due to Symphogear.

They announced the third season at the Symphogear live concert BTW (which apparently had singing, but I’ve no idea if there was fighting :p).

I won’t completely give up on MJP yet, but I don’t want to get anyone’s hopes up either :p.
