The Short End of the Stick

I just can’t help but compare myself with what was learned in this episode. Then again, the question is, do I consider myself human or livestock?

Seems that Hachiken has some mommy issues and hints of inferiority complex. Wonder what happened to him and how he ended there in the first place?

    Yeah, he has issues. As for human or livestock? Well, I often get the impression from those more privileged that “the rest of us” are often seen no different from livestock ^^;.

    I don’t want to admit it but for us common folk, we’re usually the fodder. ;_;

    One of the shining points of Gin no Saji – lessons about life from livestock. Pigs teach us that you get no where by being complacent content with everything else besides the better stuff, and horses teach us that if people no longer see any more use for you no matter how hardworking you are in trying to please them, you get scrapped. Yep, sounds just like corporate life all right. orz
