Deep the Rabbit Hole goes

Heavy conspiracy, TONS OF SHIT!!

Realizing that a series started getting good during the last 5 episodes makes me wonder if it was a good series or a bad one. Well, it’s definitely promising considering it started to grab interest but the feeling of being trolled is the most annoying shit that this series did.

And seriously, troll it did! They just made Valvrave-tan talk AT THE FUCKING LAST EPISODE! What the fuck?!

Not to mention, weird-ass mecha technology such as a magical stick that can hack machinery. How does it do it? BY WHACKING THE DAMN THING TO THE TARGET! Just what kind of magic mushrooms have Sunrise been hitting?

And yes, the rape issue which is now legit since (a) Rukino Saki IS a celebrity which deals with shit like rape 24/7 and (b) they have been possessed by the “holy spirit” turning rape into a reasonable “celestial ritual” that translates itself to “heavenly sex”……

If you haven’t started watching this show then don’t. Spare yourself of the shit and hell and headache. As for me, few more months before s2… FUCK!!

“If you haven’t started watching this show then don’t.” Totally agree. Can’t believe Sunrise made us watch this even in this era. Didn’t even notice that *she* had the calibre to be female protagonist.

To be honest, I was hoping for Sunrise to redeem itself with the lulz such as S2 of Geass and S2 of Gundam 00. Not to mention, AGE! But man, they keep fucking things up. To think these are the same guys who did proper Gundam anime that became a part of my childhood. =(

Heavenly sex? Haven’t there been several priests been thrown into jail for that exact reason? Thus it is still not okay. And celebirties as far as I know don’t have to face a 24/7 rape part. There should and is no reason for a girl/women to defend a rape.
On another note why must they use Illuminiti type organization. I find this one of, if not the worst ways to help the plot move along (for lack of better words). It just infuriates me to no end. It is just some sort of cop out.

I think Sunrise did a good job in stressing out how fucked up anime teens think. Well, most teens of this generation think the same way but from the perspective of a viewer who knows that rape isn’t obviously an issue that can easily be shrugged off, it’s quite a depressing resolution… Er yeah, being possessed by a holy spirit to rape somebody doesn’t sell well with me.

I’m betting the second season will reveal that the Magius are actually remnants of Charles zi Britannia’s Geass project and the Valvraves are the cultivation of such yadah yadah insertwhateverbullshitsunrise… OTL

“Well, most teens of this generation think the same way” I would disagree with that statement (Me being an 18 year old) there seems to be a great deal of vocal individuals that think it is an okay thing due to social media (and the whole Stubenville fiasco). Also wouldn’t the targeted audience of this anime (and the majority of anime watchers) be in their late teens to early twenties therefore shouldn’t Sunrise try to at least stop feeding this rape culutre.
I shouldn’t say that rape isn’t allowed in anime but it should at least be potrayed in a negative light and should be used rarely ( I hope this comes across correctly)

But for the second season…I couldn’t even go through the second season of Code Geass so this is going to be a fun experience.

This is exactly the problem with the rape issue with Valvrave. How they poorly handled such a sensitive topic just leaves a bad aftertaste. I really wished they did it differently. That Rukino Saki confronted the matter seriously, not using excuses such as her being a celebrity or Haruto being batshit crazy since he was possessed.
