Prelude to Trouble

Code Geass reference??

An episode full of Yangire Nibutani ain’t that bad. It’s good to see how she’s faring against her war with Dekomori even if she occasionally receives a preemptive strike the little midget. For the remainder of the episode though, I have to say that it took me by surprise to see the series actually take on Isshiki’s personality. It wasn’t that great but I really like his manly sacrifice for his brothers.

Really thought GG would use ‘fuck’ instead of ‘damn’

Nobody messes with Nibutani in her Yangire mode

I’m not really familiar with Akasaki Chinatsu but she does a damn good job in transitioning Nibutani’s character from her cute facade to her psychotic mode.

That aside, the series has been doing a good job concealing the more serious issues for this series as well as the romantic side of things. To be honest, I really can’t decipher what Rikka’s intentions are for even holding Yuuta’s hand. Part of what she said may be true (reading the wind?) but I get a feeling that she’s aware of something troublesome approaching and asked Yuuta for his hand to give herself courage. No matter. Whatever her concerns are may probably be related to the next episode.

    Rikka and Yuuta holding hands while a train passes by. Made me think of the suspension bridge effect for some reason :p. There’s definitely trouble coming up, and Yuuta will probably find himself caught up in it unwillingly ^^;.

    This episode does make me wonder how blind the other students must be to never notice the antics of these club members. As for Isshiki, he brought it all upon himself. Still, Nibutani could have been a bit more understanding considering her background OTL.

    Reminds me of an episode in Medaka Box s1 where the students acknowledge the crazy stunts that Medaka does. thinking that such things were ordinary. Maybe the students have the same mindset when it comes to Rikka and the gang.

    @baka~

    Now that you put it this way, I do wonder how the other students really view Nibutani :p.
