Poker Face

D’awwwww!

They toned down Akiko’s antics this episode in order to delve more into Akito’s manager and the sex-deranged prez. Oddly enough, I was expecting some serious side of the prez this episode but it seems that there’s no telling what runs in her head other than sex. I guess the previous episode’s monologue mislead me.

Now I’m really skeptical how far Akito’s perception of reality is and when his fantasies begin. To be able to write a novel that sells that well and to have such an expression about Akiko must mean something.

Heh, yeah, Akito could be in denial for all we know :p. Everyone has at least a secret or two in this story. There seem to be more to Akito and Akiko than what has been revealed so far. I wonder if there will be confrontations between the manager and Akiko in later episodes ^^;.

I guess this episode wraps up the entirety of the character introductions, making me expect more serious things next episode. Well, probably matters related to their ‘sibling’ status. Man, for some reason, I enjoyed this episode less than the previous ones. I guess I got bored by the prez’s antics. That or I’m just rooting for Ana and Akiko.

I’m betting you are rooting for Akiko ;). I found the beginning of this episode really boring to be honest, but it sort of became more amusing as it went by. The manager’s antics wasn’t too bad, not as funny as Akiko or Ana, but still amusing. As for the prez, well, I’d say her antics are only amusing when Akiko gets involved :p. Akito’s interactions with the prez doesn’t seem to work for me ^^;.

Well, Ana’s interactions with Akito were quite good like in the previous episode. I guess I really liked how Ana becomes a tsundere when he’s around and how Akito seem to welcome Ana’s provocation. The prez is a different matter since she never really provokes Akito and does her own thing at her own pace, never eliciting any other emotion or reaction from the guy.
