The Purest Delusions

I think most of us still have that chunibyou inside, still slumbering, but at some point in our lives, when did we decide to stop acting like it? Desiring for change is one thing but actually motivating oneself to change is another.

Rikka and Sanae, Yuuta and Shinka; these two pairs reflect the past and present of a chunibyou but what was it that divides them? That unshakable force that decides to put everything in the past and move on?

Well, these issues aside, this series is surely gaining its momentum. It just keeps getting good! The animation, the comedy, the characters, and even the new seiyuu that I’m unfamiliar with at first are slowly creeping their way into my system thanks to the portrayal of their characters.

Smooth!

    @baka~

    lol. Yeah, this was a fun episode, demonstrating all their chuunibyou ways XD. This is becoming my favourite anime that started this season.

    I think that societal pressure play a role as well :p.

    Well, society will always have a hand in forcing people to change but it makes me wonder why Rikka and Sanae are so persistent in theirs. It’s not like they want to screw the rules and fuck society… right?

    And yes, this series is turning out to be more than what I originally anticipated. I never expected this one to be this good.

    Well, Sanae is still at that age, as well as being encouraged by Rikka whom she respects. As for Rikka, my speculation is that she seem to be rebelling against her sister and maybe coping with family issues by living out her own imaginary world of sorts. Of course, it might also have become so part of her that she has accepted it as her own identity (for better or worst ^^; ).
