Good things come around

Despite Oreki bumming his ass as he “attempts” to sell the club’s merchandise, I find it surprising how he became a key factor that made it possible for the Classics Club to put up a good fight.

I never thought the item exchanges that he made earlier would actually serve its purpose. Well, that aside, it seems that we’re back to the mystery next episode as they track down the culprit of the stolen items.

Oh and Chitanda receiving WC training from Irsu… Not good Houtarou. Not Good.

WC? Scary if Chitanda takes Irisu’s advice to heart. She could become a monster ^^;. I fear for the sanity and safety of Oreki (and anyone else that she deals with in the future) :p.

I sort of expected the item exchange would lead to something like this. It’s like a retelling of one of the many classic tales about this topic. Though I didn’t expect it to involve the cooking competition, and end up benefiting the classics club in this way (I thought it might help solve the mystery directly ^^; ). That was before I saw the last item. By then, it was pretty clear to me that it was going to get used in the competition, specially when it was explicitly mentioned that they could use anything ingredient from the school during the competition.

Really love the cooking sequence. The amount of comedy and drama made it extremely entertaining.

For some reason I don’t really care that much about this mystery :p.

Not only was this arc totally enjoyable, it did a good job in presenting the next mystery which I still find to be entertaining. Well, because we get to see Oreki shine and piece all of it together.

Yeah, the mystery is well presented, but somehow I’m distracted enough not to care that much about it. I suppose the next episode will focus on the mystery. How many clues were left again?

The tarot cards, the go piece, the musical instrument, and the ladle
