More than meets the eye

Never thought Coorie was a bijin O_O

If Luca was the spy then where is the real Luca? And what’s up with Kane’s double? Well, it’s obvious that one of them has an ahoge but who are they working and what goals do they plan to achieve?

That aside, despite the episode’s title, implying that something grave happened to the Bentenmaru, I was surprised that nothing of the sort actually happened. In fact, going head on against such a powerful and advanced warship, the Grand Cross, and being able to survive that encounter twice is already a merit for the whole crew. And to be honest, that was one exciting and well-animated space battle. And not to mention, I enjoyed Marika’s brilliant display of tactics.

With Ririka coming in contact with the masked man, which I presume to be Marika’s dad, and the Pirate Council on the way, I wonder what kind of epic struggle they’ll be able to squeeze in within the last 2 episodes.

Heh, I didn’t even recognised Coorie until it was pointed out later XD. With so many spies around, and more mysteries still to be solved, this is the best arc yet! Feels almost sad that there are only two more episodes.

I was WTF-ing the moment she spoke in her default voice. I never expected to be trolled by that scene XD

And yeah, it feels weird knowing that the good stuff would have to end within the last 3 episodes. They really saved the best for last though I wonder if there would be a next season for this series.
