Reach for Mars!

One reason that I have taken a liking to this anime is to see if Mutta could pull it off. He has a background of mechanical engineering and was able to design cars that sell but for him to suddenly decide to change his career path and become an astronaut, well i’ll be…

If anything, I’m expecting this anime to show how realistically feasible it is.

What i’m particularly looking for in this anime is if it has the message to stimulate the viewer in the decisions he made in life, as reflected in Mutta’s circumstances.

Will determination be powerful enough for one to reach his own dreams? Will there be some conflict with the youth that dreamed of becoming an astronaut against the adult that became a mechanical engineer? Is this career change too late to commit to?

I think i’m setting high expectations for this anime but I guess there’s no helping it. Slice of life, closer to reality or more bizarre than fiction, if there’s a lesson to learn from this anime, it better be worth it.

Well, I bet there are going to lessons to learn from this one. I get the impression that it will have quotes worth adding to your list as well ;).

I don’t have a feeling there will be episodic lines of epicness but I get the feeling that once the lesson is learned, there will be a meaningful content to add.

Heh, maybe not episodic, but I’m hoping for some interesting lines from this anime on occasion.

I was crying along when the episode finished -___-

(Also, really, they couldn’t have found a better voice actor for Mutta ^^)
